– resting in relationship to body & food – juice fast.
Discover the joy of asanas, meditation, food combining, eating natural foods, and other yogic practices. We will weave together a personal journey of yogic practices – meditation, asana, breath work, enquiry/self-discovery and fasting (organic juice fasting).
Yoga can be a very personal and intuitive experience, not only a practice for flexibility and strength, but also a means to learn about motivation, compassion, connection.
Yoga is the process of uniting, instigating healing oneself physically, emotionally or mentally. Many people seem to have a naturally strong connection with Yoga these days, and the transformative edge of practice is moving from strong and outer to soft restorative work.
The detox will start at Thursday and end on Sunday at lunchtime. We use freshly made vegetable and fruit detox juices, detoxifying herbs, enzymes & fibre supplements to cleanse, move and tone the digestive tract during a fast. It is important for bowels, lymph and lungs to move well during a detox. The use and adaptation of supplements to your individual needs is needed. As is gentle activity – yoga, pranayama (breath work), and walks in the beautiful natural surroundings.
The weekend will be leaded by detox expert and yogateacher, Shoshana Moskowtitz:
“Before practicing yoga I had generally followed a quite unhealthy lifestyle in order to fill the meaninglessness in my life. Through yoga, my life became full of meaning and interest. Right from the beginning I experienced a huge shift in the healing of my emotional, mental and physical bodies. Suddenly I was feeling my life force from head to toe.”
Join us for a self-loving yoga detox weekend.
All levels of experience are welcome – yoga practices will be restorative/yin and healing for the central nervous system, body and mind.

Why a donation based yoga weekend?
On a donation based yoga detox weekend, the price is kept to minimum to cover basic venue costs. This opens up the workshop and enables you to come without expectations, to experience the gifts held dearly and shared by the teacher freely, and at the end to gift back voluntary for the teachings according to your heart and your capacity (i.e. a sliding-scale).
This is a yoga tradition that enables teachings and experience to be more accessible to many, and provides you with karma yoga!
“How much should I pay?”. You can compare it to having a massage or buying some new clothes…how much would you spend on that? To help calm uncertainty – guidelines are 200 NOK to a generous 600 NOK per day, it is your free choice to give back. And of course what is your financial truth in the moment. You can pay the donation in advance – or the last day in cash or by card.
If you want to stay at home, the price is 1200 NOK (1800 NOK after 17 August).

Before and after the retreat

All the teaching will be done in English.
At the age of 26 Shoshana had completed her Israeli army service and University and travelled to India. She had always had a lowered immune system and was used to taking antibiotics and other medications for bacteria and viral infections she caught monthly. In this trip to India, she discovered the healing benefits of life foods, detoxification and yoga, which led her on a journey to heal her life, mind-body and soul. The benefits were evident immediately – the life foods opened Sho to the direct guidance of spirit, yoga practice became a journey of dancing in the body, and detoxification rid her body of all chronic symptoms for good, as medication never had. She has never looked back and deeply appreciates her body’s health and sharing these effective methods for healing worldwide.
In 2000 Shoshana founded ‘Karuna Detox Retreats’, the first detox centre in England to share her knowledge on creating mind-body wellbeing. You can join her popular yoga juice fasting retreats for mind-body and heart healing, in UK karunadetox.com, Norway and Greece in 2016.
“I have learnt to listen to my body, to follow it’s ancient wisdom. It leads me to a space of ‘miracles’!”
Welcome to a relaxing and inspiring weekend at Dharma Mountain!
