You are welcome to rent Dharma Mountain for your retreat
Dharma Mountain is an ideal venue for retreats and groups - in beautiful, natural surroundings, located only two hours away from Oslo and Oslo Airport.
With over 20 years of experience in hosting yoga retreats, self-development and creativity groups, Dharma Mountain offers a unique and safe environment for your group, in an atmosphere of silence and tranquility.
Our ten comfortable and cozy cabins accommodate up to 60 people. The main house has modern facilities for group activities, including a beautiful and spacious group room with a panoramic view of the mountains. All of us working at Dharma Mountain have meditation as part of our lives and we would love to share the love and presence we experience here.
What we offer
Main house has a big meditation room surrounded by nature and with a mountain view. The room is 96m2. If you open the doors to a smaller room you get 38m2 extra. It is heating in the floor when needed.
Equipment
Yoga mats, camping mats, blankets, meditation chairs, half-moon meditation cushions and pillows are available. We also have a high-quality PA system, an HD projector, a screen and a whiteboard. Just let us know what you need.
The food
We offer three meals per day – breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our menus are mainly vegetarian and we use low amounts of wheat, milk and sugar. For longer groups, we also offer a pesco-vegetarian menu. When ordered in advance, we always offer gluten free and vegan alternatives.
For participants with other special dietary requirements, please connect with us in good time before the group and we will look into what is possible.
Coffee and tea are available in the serving area throughout the day.
Accomodation
Our ten cabins have the same style as the main house – wide windows, natural wooden surfaces and functional design. Nine of the cabins have 2 bedrooms and one cabin has 3 bedrooms. The beds are new and comfortable.
All the cabins have a bathroom with shower and toilet, and an open plan minikitchen and living room (with a sofa and a dining table). Each cabin also has a spacious attic with extra bed space.
All cabins are easily heated (electric heating) and four of them also have wood stoves. They all have been recently painted inside and outside.

Deep knowledge, understanding and experience when it comes to the work happening in the place. The staff prepares for the groups coming in a fantastic way. Christian Scheel and Eirik Balavoine
