reCreation – A Reset to Resource | Summer Retreat

28. July - 30. July, 2026

Unni Heim

We are incredibly happy to be able to invite you back to Dharma Mountain this summer as well. Welcome to this year's summer retreat, which this year has been named "reCreation - a reset to reSource".

There will be biodanza every day (1 or 2 sessions a day) in addition to meditation, deep relaxation/nidra, cacao ceremony with Flowdancing (meditative dance), connection with nature and creativity.

Recreation: From the Latin recreare, recreate, to give new life.

The word recreation was perhaps more commonly used in the "old days". Back then, people were provided with experiences outside their daily routine. This was intended to awaken new energy and strengthen their health. People went to spas or excursions to experience other things, and when they returned home, they were as good as new, and could integrate this into the everyday life they wanted to create, with new strength and new insight.

reCreate – a reset to resource is such an invitation. er en slik invitasjon.

We awaken our inherent, essential creativity: the part of us that is creation itself:

  • the deep feminine / masculine
  • the seed & the tree
  • dormancy & unfolding
  • nourishment & replenishment
  • innovation & renewal
  • transformation
  • expressivity
  • imagination, intuition & dreams
  • form, chaos, formlessness, new form
  • meaning, values, direction & sovereignty
  • coexistence with everything and the web of life (The Field)
  • love in many forms (care, eroticism, solidarity, universal love, presence)

Sometimes we may think that creativity is something that drains us. But this side of our creativity is the very lifeblood. "Fire wires" - you get more vitality and not least the experience of satisfaction and perfection.

How is the retreat set up?

We have several magical places at Dharma Mountain where we will have our sessions:

1. The beautiful hall with a view of the mountains and nature, equipped with a top-notch sound system.

2. The Forest Temple – beautiful temple in the middle of the forest with fantastic music.

3. Out in nature on the grass or near the forest. If we dance out in nature, this session will be without music to create a deeper connection with the surroundings.

We use these three places depending on the weather conditions and the process we are in. In 2024 and 2025 we were in the Forest Temple the whole time when we had fantastic weather.
