The Way Home
Our time and our culture are so overcrowded and fixated on the external, the mechanical, and the materialistic that we lose sight of the soulful and spiritual dimensions of existence. We lose ourselves in the collective rush, adapt, and become unhappy copies. We suppress important aspects and forces within ourselves, and grow numb and uncertain. The distance from our authentic self creates a frustration and a longing, which we try to fill with substitutes from the outside world. And we become increasingly exhausted and alienated by never finding what we, at the deepest level, truly long for.
To break with this, we must give ourselves time to stop and listen to what lies beyond—to listen to what our everyday consciousness cannot reach.. We must enter a space of not knowing in order to receive new impulses that reveal something deeper about who we really are. Without contact with our core and essence, we remain restless and quasi-happy, forever searching.
ESSENS
Noe lever gjennom meg
hvisker svakt, men hørbart
når jeg makter å lytte
til den innerste stemmen
som alltid har vært der
Bak alle forsøk bor noe
jeg hører sammen med
men ikke kan gripe
bare nå frem til
når jeg gir slipp

TOMHET
Ikke prøv å fange det ordløse
la det bære sitt eget svar
overgi det til stillheten
bli vist et tomt rom
fylt av absolutt alt
