“
Dharma Mountain har en rolig energi som virkelig holder deg og støtter deg. Stedet har en vakker stillhet, og naturen rundt er fantastisk!
— Deltaker Awareness Intensive, 2025
The perfect opportunity to gain a new perspective on what matters and what doesn't, and to find your way back to a path that felt lost.
— Participant Inner Joy, 2025
I was very happy with the weekend, both the content/program, the location, the course instructors and not least the food was delicious! I will definitely come again! It was my first visit to you.
— Participant, 2024
Nydelig fra A til Å. Alt utgjør en magisk helhet: Nydelig,
vakkert sted, med høy grad av estetikk og personlig preg,
inne som ute, ro, nydelig mat og vakre naturrammer vi kan gå
inn i.
— Tidigare deltaker, 2026
I can't express how well cared for, safe, loved and supported I felt during my time at Dharma Mountain – the attention to detail was perfect, from the mats outside to the campfire and chai. I truly found a magic in the landscape and a deeper connection to my inner self and to nature during those 10 days – something I know will burn within me forever. Thank you so much. I will be back.
— Participant Inner Joy, 2026
Fantastic place and food. Very good active meditations and nature walks/forest bathing.
— Participant Dharma Silence retreat, 2026
“Jonathan is an excellent teacher who guided us gently and respectfully through the exercises, creating a safe and warm atmosphere for everyone.”
— Tidigare deltaker, 2026
The nature around Dharma Mountain is a healer in itself. Waking up to birdsong and the river, meditating in the forest, and sharing meals in silence — it changed my rhythm.
— Participant
I had no expectations when I arrived and was completely blown away by how well planned and professional everything was at Dharma Mountain. The cabins were well equipped, clean and very cozy. The food exceeded all expectations, every meal was an experience in itself. It was also clear that the people working there did it out of kindness rather than for the pay. It's impossible to pretend :) The facilitators were confident and experienced in what they were teaching, which made the whole process very reassuring and enjoyable.
— Participant Inner Joy, 2026
Naturen rundt Dharma Mountain

Nature – Part of the practice

Dharma Mountain is located at the foot of the Vassfaret Nature Reserve, surrounded by wild forests, mountains, and a beautiful river. Nature is always close, and it shapes the way we live here. You can walk in silence, swim in the river when the weather allows, or simply sit and listen to the wind in the trees. During winter, the Milky Way shines brightly across the night sky. Many guests tell us that this is the first place in a long time where they have truly relaxed. On many retreats, nature itself becomes part of the practice, supporting meditation, inner calm, and inspiration.
