For you who need a restart
Are you tired of always having to perform and constantly rushing to get things done? Do you need to pause and feel what you truly want? Tilstede is a meditation weekend for those who need a breather from everyday life. At Dharma Mountain meditation resort, we help you to go offline and find silence, presence, and connection with nature. You will experience meditations in nature, breathing exercises, and an introduction to Vipassana – one of the most ancient meditation techniques in the world.
At Tilstede we invite you to:
- Experience the healing power of Forest Bathing (shinrin-yoku)
- Learn Vipassana Meditationa simple and well known practise
- Practise gentle movement and breathing exercises
- Discover active meditations to release stress and tension
- Open up to natural silence and presence in a supportive group setting
Many of the practices shared during Tilstede can easily be continued at home, giving you tools for greater balance in everyday life.
The retreat is led by Dharma Mountain’s experienced facilitators for whom meditation is an integrated part of their daily life. They bring a wealth of knowledge from various meditative traditions and create a warm, supportive group environment where you can relax, be yourself – and experience the power of meditating together with others.

Why meditation?
Studies show that meditation can significantly reduce stress hormones like cortisol, improve sleep, support the immune system, and enhance emotional well-being. At Dharma Mountain, we have witnessed this transformation time and again – now it’s your turn!
What is forest bathing?
Shinrin-yoku (forest bathing) was developed in Japan in the 1980s as a therapeutic method. Forest bathing simply means “bathing” in the healing atmosphere of the forest by consciously slowing down and opening your senses to receive nourishment and healing from the surrounding nature.

Tilstede was a turning point. I arrived feeling tired and full of inner restlessness, but during the retreat, I unlocked something that has brought much more calmness and energy. The effect was far greater than I thought possible over just a long weekend – my quality of life has truly improved. I warmly recommend it to anyone seeking peace and a fresh start.
