Many of the practices shared during Tilstede can easily be continued at home, giving you tools for greater balance in everyday life.
The retreat is led by Dharma Mountain’s experienced facilitators for whom meditation is an integrated part of their daily life. Why meditation?
Studies show that meditation can significantly reduce stress hormones like cortisol, improve sleep, support the immune system, and enhance emotional well-being. At Dharma Mountain, we have witnessed this transformation time and again – now it’s your turn!

What is forest bathing?

Experience freedom without your phone
At a retreat at Dharma Mountain, you get special support to let go of distractions and be fully present.
All shared spaces are device-free – in the dining hall, the cabin common areas, and the group room, we are together without phones or tablets.
If you want to go completely offline, you can hand in your phone at our “mobile hotel,” where we keep it safe until you leave. If someone needs to reach you, they can call our number, and we’ll pass the message to you.
This setup makes it easier to slow down, open your senses, and experience nature – and each other – without interruptions

The weekend was a turning point. I arrived feeling tired and full of inner restlessness, but during the retreat, I unlocked something that has brought much more calmness and energy. The effect was far greater than I thought possible over just a long weekend – my quality of life has truly improved. I warmly recommend it to anyone seeking peace and a fresh start.
