Inner Peace – silent retreat with Vipassana and meditation in nature

22. July - 28. July, 2024

Dharma Mountain Group

This six-day retreat will have Vipassana meditation at its core, with forest bathing and other meditations in nature.

The program will include yin yoga, breathing techniques, and active meditations which support finding calmness and connection with the body.

No prior experience with meditation is necessary. The entire program will be guided by our experienced facilitators. The retreat is also suitable for those with previous meditation experience, as an opportunity for deepening practice.

Dharma Mountain is a unique setting for a silent retreat. The peaceful, quiet atmosphere combined with beautiful nature – mountains, rivers, and forests – supports us in entering silence, and simply being.

What is a silent retreat?

In a silent retreat, we cease all communication with the outside world and direct all our attention inward. As we pause and simply sit without attempting to do or change anything, everything gradually begins to settle. It may take some time before restlessness and thoughts loosen their grip. By allowing ourselves time to be silent and with the support of the group, we can eventually let go and experience a deeper silence, more relaxation, inner peace, and joy.
